They’re starting to talk about easing restrictions. I can’t help feel its premature. The death toll keeps rising albeit slower and there’s still no vaccine or cure. That said the daily growth in cases and deaths seems to have stabilised – its now more linear at about 4500 new cases and 500-600 deaths per day. The numbers are still appalling – effectively two airliners crashing per day – but its better than it was.

In the US they now have 850,000 cases and nearly 50,000 dead. It shows no real signs of slowing there. Yet some states are already lifting restrictions. Florida opened its beaches, despite 1000 dead and about an extra 60-100 every day. Its just crazy.
